  1. The results are expressed as the percentage of inhibition in treated samples compared to the control without additive. Conidia of each genotype were used to inoculate microplate wells containing standard PDB medium supplemented with the appropriate compound. Nephelometric growth was automatically recorded for 33 h at 24 °C. Each condition was tested in triplicate and the experiments were repeated twice. The areas under the curves were used to calculate the percentages of inhibition for each treatment compared to the control growth curves. Values are means of three biological repetitions and represent the percentage growth inhibition under stress conditions compared with standard growth conditions
